Keys to Success in The Paper Money Market - Buy
PROPERLY GRADED Antique Currency!!
March 2006
In recent years thousands of people are discovering the wonders of
antique collectible currency.  Paper money values continue to rise as
more and more people enter the paper money world.  There has been
a particularly solid and consistent trend of increasing demand for the
finest PROPERLY GRADED rare currency items.  Everybody wants
uncirculated and particularly gem uncirculated currency.  The
tremendous demand and short supply have resulted in continuing
increasing prices for these higher end items.  Whether it be the Silver
Certificate, Gold Certificate, Legal Tender Note, high denominiation,
national bank note, world bank note, federal reserve notes, fancy or
low serial number notes, treasury notes, or confederate currency
people are looking for the best!

While many antique currency notes aspire to the uncirculated or gem
uncirculated grade far fewer actually make it.  How do you know the
rare currency you are purchasing is really in uncirculated or gem
uncirculated condition?  There are 2 third party grading companies
which have unbiased, reliable and consistent grading standards -
PMG
and
PCGS.  While you will likely have to pay a higher price for a
antique currency note graded by
PMG or PCGS you have the best
assurance that your collectible currency notes have been PROPERLY
graded by the industry leaders.  The graders at these 2 companies are
not allowed to deal in any way in the paper money market.  Other
grading companies, unfortunately can't say that.

Often times you may be tempted to purchase a antique currency note
raw (not third party graded) or a rare collectible currency note graded
by a different company other than PMG or PCGS because the price
may be lower.  However, rarely do these notes live up to there stated
grade.  Really in comes down to simple economics.  If a seller could
realize at least several hundred dollars more by having their antique
currency graded by PMG or PCGS they would.  The problem is, of
course, the notes don't live up to their stated grade so they are sold
raw or graded by a different grading company.

This becomes particularly true for uncirculated and gem uncirculated
antique currency as even minor difficult to detect flaws may drop the
note to a lower grade.  The market is blooming for the finest
PROPERLY GRADED currency. Buy your antique currency from a
reputable currency dealer who specializes in uncirculated and gem
uncirculated rare currency and stands behind their notes 100% by
having them PMG or PCGS graded.  Don't get caught spending
hundreds or thousands of dollars for currency which doesn't live up to
its stated grade. Whether your interest be Silver Certificates, Gold
Certificates, Legal Tender Notes, high denominiation, national bank
notes, world bank notes, federal reserve notes, fancy or low serial
number notes, treasury notes, or confederate currency Make sure your
notes are graded by PMG or PCGS!
